Some of you have been asking, "What is White Day? On White Day, which is exactly one month later, the opposite happens; males who had received such "honmei-choco" or "chocolates of love" are expected to reciprocate by giving gifts to the females, and the gifts are usually more expensive.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Origins</span><br /><br />White Day was started by the National Confectionery Industry Association in Japan in 1978 as an "answer day" to Valentine's Day on the grounds that the men should give back to the women who gave them gifts.<br /><br />Source: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_day">Wikipedia (click to link)</a><br /><br />Although White Day is not as recognised or celebrated as Valentine's Day in Singapore and in NUS, it is still a good time to express some love, or even friendship! We also have delicious <span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">konnyaku jelly</span></span> and oh-so-sweet <span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">bubble tea</span></span> on sale!
